As a general practitioner, I am your first point of contact in the healthcare system. I provide low-threshold initial contact for all health issues and am your point of contact for medical questions of any kind. If further examinations by specialists or in outpatient clinics are necessary, I will refer you to them and advise you on your choice.

• Preventive medical check-ups (or ‘health check-ups’): From the age of 18, you are entitled to a free preventive medical check-up every 12 months. You will need two appointments for this: 1. Blood test (fasting on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. or Friday from 7:00 a.m. or by appointment – you may also need to bring external laboratory results with you), 2. Examination and discussion of findings
• Blood tests can be carried out at the surgery at any time during surgery hours (up to 1 hour before the surgery closes).
• Mother-child passport examinations for mothers in the 20th week of pregnancy
• Suture and staple removal and dressing changes
• First aid for minor wounds, wound treatment for chronic wounds
• ECG
• Surgery approvals
• Infusion therapy: Vitamin C, iron (prescription required, after collection from the pharmacy) + advance registration
• Infiltrations: spine, knee joint, shoulder joint
• VUs – possible Tuesday to Friday
• Rehabilitation application
• Urine analysis
• Stool tests – test tube must be collected in advance + referral
• Languages: My assistants also speak Ukrainian and Bulgarian

In addition to conventional medicine, I also use selected complementary medicine methods when appropriate. We can discuss whether this makes sense in your individual situation.

Here are a few examples:

• Acupuncture: Acupuncture attempts to treat symptoms by applying acupuncture needles to specific points on the body. Some chronic conditions or acute pain can be effectively treated with acupuncture as a complementary therapy.
• Orthomolecular medicine: after identifying any deficiencies, specific vitamins or trace elements can be administered or prescribed.
• Complementary cancer treatment: in addition to conventional tumour therapy in hospital, complementary medical treatments may also be useful for certain symptoms.
